Nuit Electro at the Grand Palais, Paris, Dan Finnan.

On Friday 25 September the 19th century Grand Palais was transformed into a futuristic club complete with fantastic lights and amazing decorations.

French mobile phone provider SFR put on a programme of French electro and international dance music that kept clubbers dancing all night.

Under the glass-panelled roof of the majestic structure there was no shortage of DJs and dance acts, including – Étienne de Crecy, Mondkopf, Naïve New Beaters, Felix Da Housecat, DJ Hell, Pony Pony Run Run and Birdy Nam Nam.

Graffiti gets into the Grand Palais

Outside the Tag graffiti exhibition, Grand Palais, Paris

Under the glass-panelled roof of the Grand Palais, the Tag exhibition marks an important moment for graffiti. It’s the first time such a collection of street art has been housed in a neoclassical building, which is more used to displaying collections of fine art.
